Piper

Piper Warrior PanelPiper WarriorThe Piper Warrior is a staple of primary training. If you prefer low wing aircraft for your primary training (or want to take a flight in one to compare to the C172), this is the economical way to go about it.

Greg is an authorized instructor in PA28 Warrior at San Martin and Palo Alto.

Piper Archer panelPiper ArcherThe Piper Archer is another staple of primary training, and, instrument training too. Specifically Archer III for instrument training – it’s a relatively newer airplane and has more modern avionics.

Greg is an authorized instructor in PA28 Archer at Palo Alto.

Piper Arrow PanelPiper ArrowThe Piper Arrow is more powerful and faster. It has retractable gear, which makes it popular for working on the Commercial Pilot rating.

Greg is an authorized instructor in the PA28R Arrow at Livermore and San Martin (6/2011: Arrow will return here soon).

Piper Seminole PanelPiper SeminoleThe Piper Seminole is a light twin that is very popular for entry-level multiengine training. Since it isn’t a modern ‘glass cockpit’ it will generally rent for a lower hourly cost than others. Many nationwide flight schools use this aircraft exclusively. If you have time in a Piper Arrow, then it will be an easy transition to the PA44.

Greg is an authorized instructor in the PA44 Seminole at Livermore.
